Gilard Goldfarb, Ying Zhou, Zhibing Ge, Zhibing Ge, and Amy Thompson win SPIE Educational Scholarships

Mr. Gilard Goldfarb, a graduate student working with Guifang Li, won an SPIE Educational Scholarship in Optical Science and Engineering in the amount of $1,000
Ms. Ying Zhou a graduate student working with Shin-Tson Wu, won an SPIE Educational Scholarship in Optical Science and Engineering in the amount of $3,000
Mr. Zhibing Ge a graduate student working with Shin-Tson Wu, won an SPIE Educational Scholarship in Optical Science and Engineering in the amount of $3,000
Mr. Xiangyi Nie, a graduate student working with Shin-Tson Wu, won an SPIE Educational Scholarship in Optical Science and Engineering in the amount of $1,000
Ms. Amy Thompson, a graduate student working with Winston Schoenfeld, won an SPIE Educational Scholarship in Optical Science and Engineering in the amount of $1,000
The mission of SPIE's Scholarships and Grants Program is to recognize, assist, and encourage SPIE student members and academic organizations with outstanding potential for long-range contribution to the field of optics and photonics. Award-winning applicants were evaluated and selected by the SPIE Scholarship Committee and approved by the SPIE Board of Directors' Executive Committee in April.
